TOGI爪切りに使用される素材は全て日本国産にこだわっています。良質な焼刃土、水、炭に恵まれており、高品質な資源これらの素材を使用することで、最高品質の製品を提供します。
素材にもこだわり、重量の軽減。
刃部本体は長期間の切れ味維持が出来るように、ステンレス鋼のような柔らかい素材は使わずに、神戸製鉄の国産鋼を使用。炭素鋼ハイカーボンＳ５８Ｃで製作しています。
成形は丸棒から叩き出す熱間鍛造で成形しており、刃付けと仕上げは、熟練した技を保つ職人の腕で仕上げています。柄の材料はＳＰＣＣ材を使用し。変形防止のＵ字曲げを施して軽量化を実現しました。

大正元年に創業し斬る事に、こだわり続けて百年。
日本三大刃の町である新潟県三条市の7人の職人がそれぞれの工程を任せられ、丁寧に仕上げております。
夏場、炉の近くは　60度を超えるような環境の中で職人たちは赤熱した鋼に、魂を大切みます。

【 軽い力で簡単に切る 】切る際の負担を軽減する為、クリッパー式を採用しています。２段階のテコの原理で刃先に掛かる圧力を増力し切断します。
同サイズの爪切り器と比較し半分以下の握力で爪の切断が可能となりました。
柄は、柔らかく滑りにくいソフトビニールキャップを施したことによって持ち手が滑るのを防ぎます。
また刃形状を斜めにしており、爪切断時の視認性がとてもよく、足の爪も楽に切れます。刃先端が鋭利ですので爪の端部分に食い込みがとてもよく、巻き爪や厚爪・変形して切り難しくなった爪も楽々切断出来ます。

100 years of history and tradition
Each item is carefully finished by craftsmen who have inherited the traditions of Tsubame-Sanjo.
Founded in 1914, the company has been dedicated to the art of cutting for 100 years.
Seven craftsmen in Sanjo City, Niigata Prefecture, one of the three major blade-making towns in Japan, are entrusted with each process and finish it carefully.
In summer, the temperature near the furnace exceeds 60 degrees Celsius, and the craftsmen put their heart and soul into the red-hot steel.
